Yes, I can see why it is called crucifix orchid. I love macro photographs. I like anything that enlarges a small object like images from the neutron microscope, so I would easily enjo a macro image. Have fun.
What a beautifully designed flower. The tickley petal edges at the side make it look like you might get a massage if you stuck your head in or they resemble scarey claws that warn you off. Mother nature excelled herself with this piece. Great shot.
