BUMPzee, mouse trick & a coffee break

If you scroll down this page, in the right hand column you will see cute widgets for BUMPzee and My Blog Log. Ive only just begun exploring these two blogging communities, there are many more out there for when I get more time.

So far I find BUMPzee easier to browse but thats just me. If youre looking for more like minded bloggers, check these out. Let me know how you go.

That right hand column is getting a bit long, and Id like to add more blog recomendations. If anyone knows of an easy to install three column layout, please sing out!

Accidentally discovered a mouse trick this morning...I have a mouse with a scroll wheel, and I run Windows XP with Internet Explorer 7, so maybe it will only work with this set up - dunno - give it a try. To change the size of web content displayed on your screen, hold the control button down while rolling the wheel on the mouse. For me it makes the page bigger one way, and smaller the other. OK, theres probally another six ways of doing it - but I just discovered this one. LOL

For today's Coffee Break I took the How Addicted to Blogging are you? quiz. Do you have the same problem? Click the graphic below to see. Have fun!

Neat Mouse trick..I had no idea it would do that! I'll need to show my dad.

I am using a three column hack of the minima template like you are using. Check it out at www.gogetmilo dot blogspot dot com

I can't remember where I got it but there may be a button at the very bottom of the page...

Anyway...it was super easy to install..otherwise, I wouldn't have done it!lol!! I completely wimp out when I have to do more than copy and paste...

Thanks for the mouse tip, and the blogging quiz, which I swiped and added to my blog! ;) I got a bit higher than you - or maybe worse...

I don't know of a three-column template, but, I do know of a way to add three columns to your template. I learned at Kumiko's site! She totally rocks!

Ron I hope that makes you feel better! If I find a rehab, you can be sure I will post about it, Cheers!

How to make scrolling link lists

That post might be helpful to shorten some of the stuff if you wanted to make lists like I have in my sidebar. There are other ways to do it but that is the only way I have found which lets the links still count towards pagerank and technorati ranks. Javascript blocks that scroll (like the blogrolling ones) don't get looked at by the spiders, and if you're linking to people you probably want it to count.. ;) Hope that is helpful. ;)

phishez I dunno! I must really have a problem! LOL Should we start a 12 step program?

Snokky Thanks for that, I didnt know that was the case with the java/scrolls - but it makes sense now that youve gotten me to think about it....thanks for the linkage too - Im going to check that out in the am. Much appreciated!

Hi, Lavender - thanks for dropping by my blog - the baby greenfinch is still doing fine. Thanks for the mouse trick, that is very useful - I had always used F11 but that doesn't work for all webpages and this seems more effective.

Ces- You must have excellent self-control, LOL!

Julie- Great news for the little green finch - Thanks for letting me know! Im glad that the mouse trick will be some help - discovering that was a 'happy accident' Cheers!
