Aviary 'Power Couple' Goliath and Uno share a tender moment. Here he is presenting her with a plump green seed he selected especially for her.

These seeds are from a grass that grows in the backyard...we leave a small patch of lawn unmowed just so these grasses can grow tall enough to set seed. Everybudgie loves them!

Lavendar, I have been reading your blog for a couple of months now.I so greatly enjoy the Budgie Sundays (and recently the baby wattle birds :) that we are going out today and getting 2 budgies. I'm very excited. I love looking at yours and have decided to get a couple of my own. I will post pictures when we get back.

I'm starting to become a fan of the Sunday bird thing! They are really sweet looking birds...I love animals, and these birds look so neat, but I have heard so many stories about people who get birds and then cannot handle them....

what do you think...can a dog person be a good bird person?

Pawhealer Yes, I do think a good dog person could be a good bird person...the bigger problem is (always) time! Id also look to the personalites of your dogs too, you dont want the headache of trying to keep your parakeet safe from a dog that 'loves' birds tehehe
