Recieved by email - Thanks T!The blurb that came along with it was:"Dont forget this brand of fresh lettuce. What probably happened is, the water the lettuce was washed in contained polliwogs and these became fresh new frogs, right in the packages. So if you're looking for salad fixins with a little more body, then be sure and try this brand. Don't forget, it's the extra care that Mexican companies take that makes the difference."Well, I doubt that the poor thing was packed as a tadpole, but - still!
it took me so long to notice that!
Hhehhehheee, would you have croaked if accidentally eaten a frog, Lavender?
Sorry Kill! Hope you got a laugh when you saw it.Anon- Ribbit Ribbit! Hes kinda cute, isnt he?
He's very cute! We went through a bout of breeding frogs, but that is a Mexican one and we didn't keep them in the fridge either. They have sent a Mexican jumping frog instead of a Mexican jumping bean!
Mexican?? Err... thought it was Ready-to-Cook french cuisine, cuisses de grenouille :)
Anon & YW - Thanks for the laughs - I needed those! Youre both brilliant!
I didn't notice that at first Lavender. Remind me not to get any fresh lettuce!
For years they've put free toys in breakfast cereal, this is obviously a new promotion to get kids to eat more greens!
Hi Captain - he does blend in there pretty well hehehe, still, Id rather a frog than a slug!Barkfoot- marketing genius! LOL
If you like animals, you will have a gift at the price of a lettuce. Who knows? Perhaps the frog will become your best friend.
LOL Funny one Kersson! Perhaps its a Frog Prince? Those who dare a kiss could try thier luck!
