Galah - Cacatua roseicapilla


Australians pronounce it "Gah-LAR".
Keep in mind, they also call me "Laven-DAH".
I dont know why - Australian is my second language!



These guys do not visit our garden, but they travel in BIG packs - so thats OK!

Last day for this trip - see you back home tommorrow!

Large NOISY flocks. I would be glad they weren't in my garden too, but still nice to spot one!

I like the way the Aussies pronounce your name. I should start saying it that way! Lovely bird photograph especially the details of the barbed wire.
