Meanwhile, out in the Garden

While we watched the Little Wattle Bird chicks, life went on as usual in the spring garden. Have a glorious day!

Beautiful Irises Lavender!!!! Is that lavender in the background - don't think it is. The purple and yellows are stunning together!

Lavender,

Did you plant those flowers or do they grow wild?

Anon Thanks Anon, and youre right, the distant purply ones are Salvia Farinacea "Blue Bedder", its a fantastic border plant and grows easily from seed. But the lavenders are starting to put out buds - soon it will be "my" season Tehehe!!

Ces Thanks Ces!!! The lavender is on its way, Ive inadvertently misled you with my Salvia Farinacea "Blue Bedder" - the flowers DO look like lavender, which is one of the reasons I love this plant so much - no pretty scent, but lovely blue, and tough as old boots!! :)

BetteJo Isnt it a trip to think about the seasons being opposite here? I still get confused from my Northern Hemisphere days - when I start singing christmas songs in JUNE!!! LOL!

Pawhealer Ive planted these, but I will share my secret for a very casual looking garden - let everything set seed and come up where it will. You can always pull out ones that are getting in the way of other plants - but it will always look like a natural meadow if you let Mother Nature do the planting, LOL! ;)
