Just Hatched!! Little Wattle Bird chicks




They hatched sometime yesterday morning, and these shots were taken just before sundown. Both hatched and from what I can see of them, they look great. So this is them at 0 days old. Will keep you posted!!

Thier fluffy down sure makes them look bigger than they are - there really is two hatchlings there, you will have to trust me on that! :) Im proud as a peacock! Tehehe

BetteJo :) Once Momma is off on her break I swoop in and get right up close....although Mom and Dad are both letting me get close to them lately too - pity I dont have that built in camera LOL!

Pawhealer Thanks muchly! You asked about the camera once awhile back and I answered there - but heard some more info and thought Id pass it on to you...apparently the shutter lag and the being 'light hungry' problem is part of being a Kodak camera - so Ive decided the next one will NOT be a kodak - I want something FASTER!!! :)
