Bearded Iris + Sunshine = Glorious Colour


Lovely tall Lavender-Blue bearded iris, glowing against a background of orange California Poppies. Shot while the sun was out yesterday, today its cold and blowy like winter again - Brrr!

Today's cool weather does help with yesterday's sunburn HAHA! Spectacular Bearded Iris and good to see some lavender colour on your blog again :) You have already noted the artistic credits to your image in the post regarding orange backdrop hehheee.

Anon Ouch! I hope youre joking and not really sunburnt - although Id love to hear Jack recite a poem about "A Sunburnt Companion with Grapes in Her Hair"....hmmm, I think Im being far too silly - must be all the housework Im doing today - actually...

Thanks BetteJo Im still trying to get a shot of the Jacaranda for you, trouble is when the sun comes out - the wind blows a gale - I hope it will still have flowers to take a picture of LOL !
