I hate advertising

I hate advertising, I think its evil. When I was in Perth a couple years ago I saw this large sign for a pizza joint. Even I had to admitt it was funny, although Im not sure if its funny ha-ha or funny strange. Anyhow, found this pic while culling shots Ive taken over the past few years and thought Id let you decide.

With all the pictures I take, my hard drive is really suffering, so I bought an external drive to keep just pics on. Now thats full! LOL

Don't like advertising (you can see from my blog haha), and have this weird way of blocking it out. The rest of the family often talk about some TV add that was just on and even though I was sitting there, didn't see it! HAHAHAA Same goes for billboards and street advertising ... I don't really understand the one above apart from the obvious - so funny strange!

External drive for daily back-ups ... images get weekly burnt onto CDs then deleted!

I think it's quite clever. Certainly attention grabbing!

I can't decide about the picture. Hmmm. Kinda creepy.
I too have an external hard drive just for pictures. I save them ALL.

Anon Hahaha! This is after a stack of CDs - I wouldnt want my life to depend on finding a pic quick! Tehehe
Thats a great tactic you have, Id love to be able to block them out, enviable skill Mate! :)

Meg It certinally does that very well...cant help but wonder what David himself would think if we could ask him LOL

BetteJo Tehehe hope you got lots of gigs to save them all with, Im surprised how fast this drive went! Oh well, back to culling, theres actually a fair few I can let go of, if I apply myself ROFL!

Barkfoot ROFL Good one Mate - I also think the olives are not a good look for a bloke :)

Not quite what pizza has to do with penis but okay maybe I could be considered a prude... but actually I'm open to an explanation or should I say a comparison.

I have to agree with you about advertising. I really don't like blogs that have so much advertising that you can't even see the blog!

I think that picture you've posted is funny....in a stupid way!

I think it's tasteless - ha ha. Really, I don't like it.

It makes you cringe!

Merlinprincesse Bad Taste! Hahahaha good one, and by all means, intend the pun! LOL

Pawhealer Yeah, some blogs are really thick with it...yeah, funny stupid - its that too!

Catherine Tasteless - another good one! LOL This ad is so weird, you have to wonder what they were thinking when they approved it, eh?

Captain Youre right, I did cringe - and actually I cringed again when I actually put it up here - but I think we are all in agreement - this is one weird ad, LOL

The only thing which I can say to a picture such as this, is that it certainly does NOT make me want that pizza. I would probably _NEVER_ eat that pizza in my entire life simply because of seeing this advertisement. Perhaps ad agencies should think things through more?

Perros You know, we wanted lunch when we saw this, but it never crossed my mind to go there - ROFL which proves your point perfectly :)

I don't like to associate intimate body parts with food to eat. Bad advertising. I think everyone else has covered all the puns.

Perriette Tehehe Yes, I think this 'hole is fished out' pun-wise :)
