Everybudgie Loves Uno

Uno must have "it". All the boy budgies want to chat her up when her mate Goliath isnt looking, and sometimes even when he is! Here its Magellan who is chatting her up. And look at her! She is definately interested in whatever he is saying to her. Tsk! Tsk!

Dont worry folks, Uno may wish to stray, but Im not going to let her get away with it.
Im not planning on sending anyone to the breeding room this spring. (Without access to nests, most hens wont "go all the way".)

Have a great day!

Uno is really proving to be a bit on the 'easy' side Lavender! Although, one can't help being like honey to bees (or birds) when one has 'it' ;) Wonder what Magellan is saying, he is the handsome one too!

Hehehe, I almost made the title to the post "Floozy!" but then thought better of it :)
Definately has "it" all over her where the boys are concerned....perhaps she should just enjoy it while she has it!
Magellan is very handsome, and sweet tempered to boot...It does make me wonder what Id get if I made that cross - him being opaline and she being recessive pied....Nah! Its too complicated to work out Hahahhaha!!!

I was going to use another word similar to 'floozy' but decided 'easy' wasn't so tarty! HAHHAHHAAAA Why would you have to work out the cross when they would be doing all the work anyway, and you'd ultimately find out ;) Hhehheeee. It IS Spring!!!

Uno reminds me of some of the women I know!

So, no worries about any of these feathered lovers having a go in the back seat of a car, huh?

Much more self control than your average teenager these days!

And so pretty!

Anon Hahahaha! Good one! And youre right about figuring out the cross - why bother? Theyd no doubt be lovely chicks - ah well, best not to give it another thought - Ive enough birds already! :)

Ces Yep, Ive known 'em like that too! Guess thats why its so amusing to see the same things go on in the animal kingdom - nothing new under the sun? Tehehe

BetteJo Cant bet on that BetteJo! LOL! They can be just as sneaky as a teenager when they set thier minds to it - too clever for thier own good sometimes! LOL

So cute, and beautiful colors, but I checked out Goliath, and I don't think he's got anything to worry about.

i am one of the women ces and lavender know. i am sure of it...

Hardwax I'll tell Goliath you said that, maybe he will relax a little - hes been working really hard chasing off her suitors. As soon as he sets off to chase one away, another moves in!! LOL

Kj Hahahaha! Good one! Of course youre right, but youre also wrong :)

Uno does sound like a 'flighty' bird (sorry about the pun).

LOL Captain! I love puns, theyre punny! (Now thats a bad one!) :)

OH! They are so cute! :) Now I know why my sister's budgie is always looking at itself in the mirror... Poor baby! It's lonely!

merlinprincesse A mirror makes a surprisingly good companion for a single budgie. Parrotts like them as well, and I once had an orphaned quail chick that loved his shiny friend....but it doesnt work for male peacocks, they see themselves, assume its a rival and set off to attack! LOL

OH! Now I'm glad you told me that! I will be less sad for Neige... (Snow) :) It's an all white budgie! (Perruche in French *teehee*)

Glad to be of assistance :) Neige and Perruche - great sounding words! Both would make excellent budgie names :)
