Six Priests Crocheting



On the Sixth day of Christmas, my True Love gave to me,
Six Priests Crocheting,
Five Frozen Things,
Four Collie Birds,
Three Fresh Pens,
Two Purple Gloves,
and a Cartridge in a Bare Tree.

Hhehhehee, your giggling is infectious Lavender! I think you could (and have) put good use to these crocheting Priests! Fifth one along has crocheted a perfect winter poncho for someone's Christmas present!

During the 12th century Priests at the head of powerful Priories which made their money from sheep farming were renowned for their crocheting skills! In Wales many of the alter blankets are crocheted and have become treasured antiquities.
