Aechmea again

I still marvel at how I can have flowers in the garden through the winter. Also Im surprised at how 'tender' Ive become. I used to be able to withstand much more severe winters than we get here, but today its about 12c and I am completely frozen through. Which makes me curious - lets do some math! Hmmmmm, thats 53f! If in my country-of-origin you got a 53 degree day in mid-winter, it would seem positively tropical! Funny that.

_______

Beyond this, its all complaining. Ciao for now!

Lavender, it's going to get down to 45 degrees tonight here in the Chicago area, and it's summer! Imagine the 20 degrees below zero with the windchill in the winter! I'm thinking if you ever come back to visit you may want to stick with the warm states! :)

Dare I say it? ...whisper... old age.

I too have been feeling the chills this winter.

Beautifull plant. For what you say it seems to be as if plants where as misterious as human beings are. It is incredible how we both manage to survie and adapt to this life.

Bye bye
