New Lens, Cat, Coffee, Rain

From the top of my wish list, The Most DH surprised me with this. Oh there are other lenses on my list, but since I prefer to shoot with only available light - I needed this one most of all. Hooray! So...what will I shoot first?

Priapus isnt really in the mood to be my muse. Too bad, the camera loves him. Aurora lodged herself under the sofa as soon as she saw me coming. Pity really, she is very pretty. The Most DH had 'urgent business' to attend to in his workshop...so unless I want dust something to do a still-life with, (gasp!), I will have to lure him back somehow....

After a nice hot latte we hit the road. The completely sodden, un-seasonable, winter cold road. Oh well, we live to ride another day, cant complain about that.

You lucky girl on the lense. There are a few lenses I have on my wish list too so I can imagine your pleasure at receiving this.

You just told us the entire story of your day with just four pictures and very vividly too! You are really amazing Lavender. Great you got these lenses, can't wait to see more pics from your road trips.
Priapus is a very handsome tom-cat too! Is he a Persian? I like them for being so calm and cuddly.

A great lense is great but you still need a great eye. And you have it! Nice pictures!

Areeiro Thank you very much Areeiro, I appreciate that. I hope I can keep it up! :) Priapus is part persian - well spotted! He is very cuddly and nice to pet, except when he sleeps on the bed - then he makes it impossible for me to move LOL

I wish I had your cmaera knowledge. Too lazy to study. My husband gave me a telephoto lens for my new Canon camera but I have to study it first. I should stick to my trustworthy Supershot.

Ces Oh shucks Thanks! :) Its really begun to fill the void left by glass work, and not just be a sideline anymore, hooray!
You will get there with the new camera Ces, slow and steady wins the race! (and who can keep the names straight? Theres a million of them!!!!!)

KJ I sometimes imagine opening a cafe - a sort of poetry reading speakeasy coffee cafe - and if I do, there will be room for everybody! LOL Keep writing your beautiful poems, Mwah!
