Black & White Formal

Queen Annes Lace accompanied to the spring ball by a Black Knight. Both dripping in pollen, tsk tsk! They really should just dance all night...

Right! Thats it, Im getting really silly. Its only fair that I warn you, I could very well burst something - so...stand back!!

Eeeeep!
Ive run out of scheduled blog posts!
Who wants an Mezcal over Valium??

This colour is so great! You might try to gather the pollen and start producing hybrids with the other hollyhocks. It's fun playing a little Mendel. I do it with Mirabilis and just created a red and yellow one :-D

I have never seen flowers so dark before and yes, shake off those pollens! Dance! Maybe they need music?

Areeiro It is very cool to do, when we grew orchids we spent years seeing what we would get LOL Alas, these days, I just let the bees do it for me, could it be I am geting lazy? :)

KJ They are so groovy, Iam so glad I persisted - guess its true, good things come to those that wait?! :)

GardenJoy Ive been very fortunate, rust is only now setting in as the plants set seed - VERY lucky! Nice to meet you, and Thanks for stopping by.

Melanie Enjoy your break and will see you on the other side, heres a valium to save for a break inside your break when you need it LOL Enjoy!!

Ces Well, they need better music than my neighbors play, thats for sure! LOL
They really are magnificent, I would grow them again - probally take a year off to do something different next year - but will be saving seeds to be sure. Enjoy your day! :)
