I love corn and the ethanol craze is the most politically motivated environmental bullshit if I have to select one. It's because Iowa, the corn producing state holds the primary caucus and every demagogue is out to get an Iowan's vote. Corn Ethanol is not the most efficient to produce. Prairie Grass ethanol cost less energy to produce. It is also more abundant, alas how many votes do the American Grassland States have in the electoral college? Think how many people there are in Wyoming and South Dakota. The Democrats won't even go there. Evil indeed! It jacks up the cost of corn and other corn products like tortillas.
Ces Indeed! The world has gone mad for money and I think we 'need' a bigger economic crisis to topple the fat cats and balance things out...if it even can be done at this late stage. Actually, Id better stop there, but your comment was brilliant - I hear you!!
