Common weeds, Un-common Cows

The brilliant yellow flowers of this unruly looking shrub light up all corners of the bush.

Probably a verbena, but no matter its name - love that colour!

Lucky for us, there was a sign to tell us that these cows are Belted Galloways. Striking, arent they?

That wooly hide would be a great asset in winter. It also makes them look more cuddly than your average cow.

More tommorrow!

Seems more like a crossing between a cow, a sheep and a zebra. so the name would be cheebra.

Onedia They were totally new to me as well! They did seem very docile, but then it was a very warm day, and they may just have been too hot to be bothered LOL
