Sulphur Crested Thugs

Another archive shot. Sulphur Crested Cockatoos prune my Acacia Cultriformis last August. As you can see, I wasnt able to sneak up on these guys to get better shots. To add insult, they mocked me from thier aerial retreat.

I'm still amazed to see exotic birds (to me anyway) just flying around wild there.

Guess I don't get out much. :)

I love the shape of the wings as they come into land. Poor TV ariel, I don't know what your reception must be like with that lot wobbling around on it!

Haven't seen much of the Cockatoos this summer, but I'm sure they will be back to plague us :)
