...insert obscure reference here...
(The pic was taken June 29th)Since its still not opened, I might post some closer shots to show the interesting colours the bud has, that are difficult to show when it is backlit - perhaps next post?
Oh Lavender I am so glad you're back. I love your serial posts - watching the birds hatch - now waiting for the flower to bloom. So fun!
Hhehheee, please don't go insane Lavender! We want to see the lily to the end! Hhahhaaa :) Closer shots are a good diea in the meantime ;)
BetteJo Hooray! (Especially because - theres nothing else happening around here lately!) TeeeheeeheeeeAnon TOO LATE!!! Too far gone already HEE HEE HA HAHAHAHAHA!!! Ahem...excuse me, I shall charge the camera battery ;)
I don't know what an "diea" is but the idea is good ;)
diea - a down under idea - no worries Mate!
I can see the colours indeed. I think it will be a fiery flower that will shatter blogworld's record of the biggest opened jaws saying WOOOOOOW!This is exciting. Good things come to those who wait, for things like this.
It's keeping you waiting!
... looks most impressive though... what happens when it DOES eventually open up..? Does it go off like a hydrogen bomb or something (well anything's possible in Australia, land of the bum-biting redback!!)
and then on the seventh day.....:)
